After a huge amount of research we chose Chestnut Sheds for this major purchase. Rachel was the friendly & efficient “voice on the phone” who helped us place our order & maintained excellent phone & email communication throughout. 

Delivery was quick, the quality of the shed excellent & the fitters friendly, hard-working & very efficient. This family run company has restored our faith that there are good customer focused companies out there who still take a pride in their work & provide an excellent service. Would definitely use again & have absolutely no hesitation in recommending goods & service. We bought a 10x12 log lap shed. Communication from start was excellent as I had some specific requirements for door and roof overhang sizes. All questions were sorted promptly. The fitting team were very competent and a pleasure to deal with. The quality and thickness of the timber used throughout including the tantalised tongue and grooved floor is better than a lot of companies. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

We ordered a fully tanalized 14 x 10 shed with extra height. Delivery was quick and on time and the fitting team were cheerful and efficient; no mean feat when erecting a large shed in the hail!

The men who came to erect the summerhouse, were nice and early, got on with the job, and all was done in a couple of hours. Several of my friends have been to admire my new She Shed! I am hoping to spend many hours of peace and quiet, (I live in a house full of males) doing my spinning and painting, or maybe just sitting and looking at the garden!  I have already reccommended your company to other people thinking of buying garden buildings. We bought a shed made to our own spec's  26ft x 9ft reverse apex roof, with 2ft canopy,  double doors in middle with 2 non opening windows equally spaced either side.

What can i say, it was better than expected, the 2 man fitting team were fabulous, worked very hard got the job done perfectly, we have had so many questions on where we got our shed from. Thanks for the apex roof shed: 10' approx. gable end width c/w 3' door x 14' long + 2' canopy.

I am pleased with the construction, and especially the customisation provided (e.g. shed  built to suit actual base width laid, door as requested, windows & their locations).  A carpenter friend (whole career spent working wood) had a good look and reckoned that the shed was sound.

Fitting team arrived on time (we live near Stroud in Gloucestershire) and got on with the task with no fuss.

I would have no problem recommending Chestnut Sheds and Fencing to anyone looking to buy a similar type of shed or workshop.

We have had a 1 x 14ft x 12ft, 19mm tantalised t&g shiplap shed, reverse apex roof with 3ft roof extension fitted and we are really pleased.  The office kept us up to date with the process of our order up to the time shed would be delivered.

The team arrived @ 9:30 in Baildon, West Yorkshire after leaving your Midlands base at 5:30 am but they were upbeat and set to work straight away. The installation wasn't easy or straight forward due to the nature of my rear garden but they met the challenge full on. I bought a 16x10 workshop and it's amazing. The quality of materials are great and it feels really sturdy. I couldn't find a company who would do the same quality for less.  They delivered it to Cornwall and it then put it up in around 3 hours.Very polite and courteous as well. I hope I have many years of enjoyment from my new man cave! General comms was great as well, an email never went more than a few hours without a reply. If I ever need a shed again, I would not hesitate to use Chestnut again!

From much research into the best quality and price I decided to order with Chestnut Sheds and Fencing. There location is the other side of the country from where I live, so it goes to show that the products take some beating. I've just taken delivery of a smart 17 x 10 ft. timber garage yesterday. The fitting team arrived promptly just after 8 am, despite their long trip down to the west country.They soon assembled the garage , which looks really good with it's log panel effect and sturdy screwed construction .Altogether an excellent job with friendly and efficient staff in the office too !

I dealt with Rachel at Chestnut, she was very helpful and put up with my constant request for even the trivial bits of information, she is a real asset to the company. I built it myself with a friend, it was very easy to do, the delivery men gave me lots of help and advice on how I should erect it. The delivery men arrived on the selected day at the allotted time, and carried all the parts from the road outside 30 metres into my rear garden with no complaints. We asked for quite special Garden building which we wanted for a small gym. We wanted a log lap pent roof of 16' x 9' complete with windows and doors, with one exception. Due to building height restriction, we can only go as high as 2.5 m, but for the kind of exercise we do, we needed more height at certain times and only temporarily. I drew up a design which called for the whole roof to be hinged and I would then install linear actuators to lift it. Chestnut shed and fencing understood our needs straight away. Two careful men came to build our gym and were very careful. The price was very competitive and the service excellent.

12x10 she’d with 18” overhang. Right from the start Chestnut Sheds were very helpful. Answering all my questions promptly and offering advice. When I requested the door to be moved to the centre instead of the side they were more than helpful. Kept me updated right through delivery. The shed arrived at 7am in the morning and despite the freezing temp the 2 men set to work, coffee in hand at my persuasion and set to work. 2 hours later the shed was up and looking fab! Before leaving they discussed the shed with me and how they had built it up. Very pleased with the quality, the dogs love it! I’ve bought it to feet my dogs in and dry them/clean them after a muddy walk but I think it’s more for me I love it and will def be ordering again from Chestnut Sheds! Had my bespoke 10x8 shed delivered last week, ordering through the office was done via a simple sketch, soon had a reply back with pricing. I wasn't there to see the guys in but they arrived exactly on time, and moved the shed to the location requested, the guys even called me up to give me a few tips when assembling. Build the shed over the weekend, no problems at all, fantastic quality all round. A similar shed built to this quality would have cost me several hundred pounds more in Cambridge. I had a 20 x 10 summer house with slight alterations to the doors and windows. Really impressed with this company, from first enquiry to fitting they have been great.
